No booking happens anywhere on these pages. The twelve walks covered here belong to independent local guides, and each is listed either on GuruWalk or, in the case of the Free Evening Walking Tour Vienna by Prime Tours, on freetour.com. Reservations, changes and questions about a specific departure all go through the guide's own page. Everything else, from a correction to a suggestion for a page this site has not written yet, reaches one inbox and gets read.
Not every message matters equally. Some notes change what a page says, others just pass through. The ones listed below are the first kind: a fact stated wrongly, or a free Vienna walk these pages have missed. If a message fits, send it.
- Details shift. Meeting points move, start times change, a route gains a stop by St. Stephen's Cathedral or drops one near the Ringstrasse. When a page here stops matching the guide's GuruWalk page or the freetour.com listing, flag it and it gets fixed. Prices cannot go stale, because every walk is free and pay what you want.
- A walk that has disappeared or quietly changed shape. Guides sometimes stop taking bookings, cut a stop from the route, or switch to a single language. Name the walk and describe what happened. If it checks out, the page is corrected or removed.
- Free-entry rules slip too. If a page names the wrong free day at a museum, calls a donation-only church free, or puts a viewpoint in the wrong district, say what actually applies. Every fact like that is measured against primary sources, not against a guide's own marketing.
- A walk missing from these pages. If a free, pay-what-you-want walk in Vienna is bookable today on GuruWalk or freetour.com and shows up nowhere here, send the link. It gets read like everything else. No guide pays to be included, and none can pay for placement.
- Most questions, from how pay-what-you-want walks work to which Vienna churches cost nothing, are answered in the FAQ and the guides.

What Happens Next
A correction, a guide who has moved a meeting point, a start time that no longer holds, gets read first, because stale details can cost a visitor a free afternoon in Vienna. Broader questions wait their turn, and some are answered as a guide page rather than a reply. There is no mailing list to join.
Where This Site Stops
Booking a place, changing a date or letting one go is beyond what this site can do. Each walk belongs to the local guide who leads it, and every reservation, waitlist and cancellation runs through that guide's page on GuruWalk or on freetour.com. None of these walks charges anything up front; whatever you decide to tip at the end goes straight to the guide. This site describes walks, holds no places and moves no money, so writing here about a confirmed spot changes nothing.
Anything already booked starts with the confirmation email, not with a note sent here. That message carries the booking reference, the meeting point and a direct route to the guide running the walk. A late start, a group that cannot be found, a departure moved at short notice: only the guide can resolve those, because the walk belongs to them. Sending the same question here just adds a delay.
This site cannot hold a place on a walk, change a meeting point, or pass messages to a guide on your behalf. Every reservation, question and cancellation has to go through the guide's own GuruWalk page, or through freetour.com for the Free Evening Walking Tour Vienna. When a confirmation looks wrong or a start time clashes with your plans, the person leading the walk is the only one who can sort it out.
We do not run, host or book any of the twelve walks here. Each belongs to an independent local guide and lives on GuruWalk or freetour.com, so every booking goes through the guide's own page. The walk categories sort the walks into four themes, and the guides explain how pay-what-you-want works on the day.
